Free RSVP Tools Compared (2026): RSVPify, Evite, RSVP.link, RSVPlinks, Invyt and TeamRally

Six online RSVP tools side by side: how many guests each lets you invite free, what the limit actually counts, and what you pay once you go over. Every price checked 3 October 2026.

Every RSVP tool says it is free. What that means varies a lot: free for 15 replies, free for 750 guests with ads, free for one event at a time. Here are six tools side by side, with the limit each one actually enforces and the price once you go over it.

Every price and limit below was read from each vendor’s own pricing or help pages on 3 October 2026. These change; check before you commit to one.

The thing that matters most: what the limit counts

Two tools can both say “free up to 100” and behave completely differently on the day.

  • A guest limit (RSVPify, TeamRally, invyt.app) counts the people on your list. You find out you are over it while you are still adding names, before anyone has been invited, which is the right moment to decide.
  • A response limit (RSVP.link, RSVPlinks, invyt.io) counts replies. You can share the link with as many people as you like, but once the limit is reached, later replies stop being recorded unless you pay. You find out after the invitations have gone out.

Neither is a trick. But if you are sharing a link in a big group chat, a response limit is the one that can surprise you.

TeamRally Invitations

Our own, so read this section with that in mind.

Free for up to 100 guests, with no ads: a designed invitation page, invitations sent by email, a share link, RSVPs with plus-ones, dietary and accessibility questions, add-to-calendar for guests, and a live guest list. An invitation holds up to 100 guests.

Where it is strong: email invites and dietary questions are free, which several tools here keep for paying customers. Covers come from the same illustrated library as our group cards, including designs drawn for baby showers, weddings, housewarmings, graduations, retirements and memorials.

Where it is not: 100 free guests matches RSVPify’s free tier but is fewer than Evite’s 750 (with ads). No seating charts, no payment collection, no wedding website.

RSVPify

The most established name here, and broad: save-the-dates, secondary events, seating, check-in on its business plans.

Free: up to 100 guests per event, one event stored at a time, basic email invitations and up to 100 emails a month. Paid personal plans are monthly: Gold $10/month for 300 guests, Platinum $15/month for 500, or $72 and $108 a year. Business and nonprofit plans start higher.

Pick it if you have a larger list on no budget, or you want the depth (multiple sub-events, guest tags, embeddable forms). Skip it if you want to pay once for one party; the paid tiers are subscriptions.

Evite

The household name. Free invitations take up to 750 guests, but carry ads and suggested gift guides. Premium removes them and adds envelopes, animations and extra design options, priced per event by guest count: $17.99 for up to 12 guests, $36.99 for 30, $68.99 for 75, $99.99 for 750. Evite Pro is $249.99 a year for up to 2,500 guests per invitation.

Pick it if you have a big list and do not mind ads, or you want the envelope-and-stamp presentation. Note that Premium pricing climbs with the guest count, so a 40-person party is a $68.99 decision.

RSVP.link

A deliberately simple link-and-form tool. Free for 15 responses, with a QR code and CSV export. $15 once per event raises it to 1,000 responses and adds a cover image and custom event links.

Pick it if you want the lightest possible thing for a small gathering. Note the limit counts responses, and 15 is small for anything bigger than a dinner.

RSVPlinks

A lot of design choice (dozens of templates, layouts and colour palettes) and per-event pricing. Free for 20 RSVPs per event, up to 5 events. Paid events cost $7 for 75 RSVPs, $15 for 250, $24 for 500, $32 for 750, $39 for 1,000, with credit packs for repeat hosts. Custom questions, waitlists, email invitations, reminders and CSV export are on paid events.

Pick it if design variety matters and you want a cheap paid step for a mid-sized event. Note that email invitations and dietary questions are not free.

Invyt (two different products)

Two unrelated products share the name.

  • invyt.io (Australian): the first 30 RSVPs free, with custom questions, dietary requirements and QR check-in. Beyond that, a one-time A$24.99 (A$17.49 if you pay within 24 hours) for unlimited responses, with add-ons sold separately.
  • invyt.app: free for 25 guests, with plus-ones, children and dietary tracking, aimed at weddings with sub-events. €12 per event for unlimited guests, a custom cover, CSV export and no branding.

Pick invyt.app if you are planning a wedding with several sub-events on a budget; its €12 is the cheapest unlimited step on this list. Pick invyt.io if QR check-in at the door matters.

How to choose

  1. How many people? Under 15: anything works. Under 25: invyt.app and invyt.io stay free too. Up to 100: TeamRally (no ads) and RSVPify stay free. A few hundred on no budget: Evite free, with ads.
  2. Do you need email invitations, or is a link enough? If guests should get a real invitation in their inbox, check whether email is free. It is on TeamRally and RSVPify; it is paid on RSVPlinks.
  3. Once, or every month? For one party, a one-off price (RSVP.link, RSVPlinks, Invyt, Evite Premium) beats a monthly plan you have to remember to cancel.
  4. What happens at the limit? Prefer a guest limit if you are sharing a link widely; a response limit can stop recording replies after the invitations are out.

If you are also sending a card for the same occasion, TeamRally does both from one account: group cards and invitations.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best free RSVP tool? It depends on the size of the list. For a big list on zero budget, Evite’s free invitations take up to 750 guests with ads, and RSVPify’s free tier takes 100. For a small event with email invites, plus-ones and dietary questions and no ads, TeamRally is free for up to 100 guests.

Which RSVP tools charge once instead of monthly? Evite Premium, RSVP.link, RSVPlinks and both Invyts charge once per event. RSVPify’s personal plans are monthly or yearly, and Evite Pro is a $249.99 annual subscription.

Do guests need an account to RSVP? Not with TeamRally, RSVPify, Evite, RSVP.link or RSVPlinks; the two Invyts don’t say either way.

What does an RSVP limit actually count? Some tools count guests on your list (RSVPify, TeamRally, invyt.app); some count replies (RSVP.link, RSVPlinks, invyt.io). A reply limit can stop recording responses once the invitations are already out.
