The free alternative to Kudoboard, GroupGreeting & Ellacard

The other group eCard tools cap the free tier or charge at checkout. TeamRally Cards is completely free — unlimited signers, scheduled delivery, and a reveal moment — because it's how TeamRally says hello.

Fair questions

Is TeamRally Cards really free, or free-with-a-catch?

Really free. No contributor cap, no premium themes, no watermark, no paywall before delivery. There is no paid tier of TeamRally Cards to upsell you to — it is the free tool from TeamRally, the team-celebration platform, and the card is our introduction, not our product.

How is it free when Kudoboard and GroupGreeting charge per card?

Different business model. Kudoboard and GroupGreeting monetize the card itself, so features sit behind per-board or per-card pricing. TeamRally makes its money on TeamRally (org-level celebrations and offsite planning) — the card tool costs us little to run and earns goodwill, so we keep it free.

Do signers need to create an account?

No. Each signer gets a personal email invite with their own private signing link — they click, write, done. Only the card creator verifies their email (passwordless magic link, no password ever).

Can the recipient see the card before delivery?

No — that is a thing we are strict about. The recipient link stays sealed until the delivery date you chose, then opens that morning in their timezone as an animated reveal.

What occasions are supported?

Birthday, work anniversary, farewell, congratulations, welcome, get well, and more — plus a custom occasion builder where you write your own headline and pick the artwork, icon, and accent color.

What is the catch versus Kudoboard?

Media. Kudoboard supports photo/GIF/video posts (video on paid tiers); TeamRally Cards messages are text plus stickers today, with richer media on the roadmap. If you need a video montage now, Kudoboard or Ellacard paid is the honest answer.
