Housewarming Invitation Wording: 30 Examples (Casual, Funny, Open House)
Housewarming party invitation wording for drinks, brunch, an open house or a dinner, funny lines for the group chat, how to say 'no gifts' and how to word the RSVP.
A housewarming invitation has one job most invitations don’t: telling people an address they’ve never been to. Get that right, add the time and a reply date, and the tone can be as casual as you like. Here’s wording for drinks, brunch, an open house and a dinner, plus funny versions for the group chat.
What a housewarming invitation needs
- That you’ve moved, and who “we” is if it’s not obvious.
- The full new address: street, number, flat, buzzer.
- Getting there: parking, which door, the nearest stop.
- When: a set time, or “from 4pm” for an open house.
- Reply by, so you know how much food to get.
