Group work anniversary cards

A work anniversary is the milestone most likely to pass unremarked — it is nobody's job to notice, and the person having it rarely brings it up. A card signed by the people they have actually worked alongside is a better acknowledgement than a Slack emoji, and it takes about the same effort to start. The designs here run both ways: laurels, ribbons and growth rings for a year at work, and rings, blossom and a table for two for the other kind.

Anniversary card designs

Every design is free. Pick one to send it as a group card — it opens as a real card, an illustrated cover that folds open and turns one page per signer.

How it works

  1. 1

Pick a design and write the first message

No account needed to start — you compose first and only give an email when you save the card.

  2. 2

    Invite the team by email

Everyone gets their own private invite link. Nothing to forward around Slack, and you can see who has signed.

  3. 3

It delivers itself on the day

Sealed until the delivery date, then it opens in the timezone you set for them — not yours.

What to write

  • Congratulations on the milestone — hard to imagine this team without you now.
  • Thanks for the years, and for everything you've quietly held together in them.
  • Happy work anniversary. The place has changed a lot; you being good at this has not.
  • Another year in. Thanks for making it a better place to work.
  • Congratulations! Genuinely lucky to have had you around this long.

Name the number

One year and ten years are different milestones and deserve different notes. A ten-year card that reads like a one-year card lands flat.

Ask people who were there

Anniversary cards get their weight from history. Someone who joined last month can only write generalities; someone who was there for the hard quarter can write the line that matters.

Thank them for something specific

Work anniversaries are really a thank-you with a date attached. Say what they did, not just how long they have been doing it.

Why teams use TeamRally Cards

  • Free to make, sign and send. Invite up to 100 people, with no per-signer fee, premium designs or charge to deliver. A copy to keep — a PDF to print, a vertical video to post — is an optional $12 extra afterwards.
  • Personal email invites. Every signer gets their own link, so there is no shared URL for the recipient to stumble across.
  • Sealed until the day. The recipient's link refuses to open before delivery, so a leaked link doesn't spoil the surprise.
  • No accounts for signers. They click their invite and write. No sign-up, no password, no app.

Questions

What do you write in a work anniversary card?
Acknowledge the milestone by number, then say one concrete thing they have contributed in that time. “Happy 5 years — the onboarding docs you wrote are still the first thing every new hire reads” beats a paragraph of general praise.
Who should sign a work anniversary card?
The people who have worked with them, weighted toward those who were there longest. A manager should usually sign, but a card that is only managers reads like a performance review.
Is TeamRally Cards free for work anniversary cards?
Yes — every card is free to make, sign and send for up to 100 invited signers, with no charge to deliver. A copy of the finished card — a PDF you can print and frame, and a vertical video you can post — or your company logo on it can be bought afterwards, and neither is needed for the card itself.
