Free New Year ecards for coworkers
A New Year card has an advantage over the Christmas one: it arrives when people are back, rested and actually reading. Pick a toast, a clock striking midnight or a quiet first sunrise, invite the team to add a line about the year ahead, and it opens on the morning you choose.

- 1
Pick a design and write the first message
No account needed to start — you compose first and only give an email when you save the card.
- 2
Invite the team by email
Everyone gets their own private invite link. Nothing to forward around Slack, and you can see who has signed.
- 3
It delivers itself on the day
Sealed until the delivery date, then it opens in the timezone you set for them — not yours.
What to write
- Happy New Year! Thank you for everything last year. Here’s to an even better one.
- Wishing you a year of good news, short meetings and long weekends.
- Happy New Year from all of us. We couldn’t ask for a better person to start it with.
- New year, same brilliant team. Glad you’re in it. Happy New Year!
- Thank you for a great year working together. Wishing you and your team a happy and successful New Year.
Send it on the first day back
New Year’s Day 2027 is a Friday, so most offices return on Monday 4 January. A card that opens that morning is read; one sent on the 31st waits under a week of out-of-office replies.
Late is fine in January
New Year wishes are welcome until the middle of January, so a card for someone back from a long break, or a team in another country, is not too late.
For clients, one card each
Choose “Send it to a list” and up to 25 clients each get their own copy with their name on it, arriving at 9am in their timezone. The first sunrise and the balloons are the calmer designs.

Why teams use TeamRally Cards
- Free to make, sign and send. Invite up to 100 people, with no per-signer fee, premium designs or charge to deliver.
- Personal email invites. Every signer gets their own link, so there is no shared URL for the recipient to stumble across.
- Sealed until the day. The recipient's link refuses to open before delivery, so a leaked link doesn't spoil the surprise.
- No accounts for signers. They click their invite and write. No sign-up, no password, no app.

Questions
- Are these New Year ecards free?
- Yes. Every design is free to make, sign and send, with up to 100 invited signers and no account for the people signing.
- Can I change the greeting?
- Yes. Each design opens with “Happy New Year” already written, and you can rewrite it (to “Happy New Year 2027” or “Cheers to a great year”), move it or change its colour.
- When should I send a New Year card to coworkers?
- On the first working day of January, when everyone is back. You pick the day and time, and it opens at that time in the recipient’s timezone.
- Can I send New Year cards to clients?
- Yes. Choose “Send it to a list”: write one message and up to 25 clients each get their own copy at their own email, with their name on it. For a key client, make one card the whole account team signs.
- Is there a design without champagne?
- Yes. Two coffee mugs in party hats, party poppers, a sunrise and balloons all work for teams where not everyone drinks.
