How it works

  1. 1

    Make the invitation

Pick a cover, add the date, the place and anything guests should know.

  2. 2

    Send it your way

Email each guest their own invitation, or share one link in the group chat. There’s a QR code too.

  3. 3

    Watch the replies

Going, maybe or can’t, with plus-ones and dietary needs, in one live guest list.

What to write

  • You’re invited to our Christmas party! Friday 11 December from 7pm at The Lantern. Ugly sweaters encouraged. Please reply by 1 December.
  • Christmas lunch for the team, Thursday 17 December at 12:30. Tell us about any dietary needs when you reply.
  • Mulled wine and cookies at ours, Saturday 19 December from 4pm. Bring a friend, and a bottle if you like.
  • Secret Santa and drinks: Wednesday 16 December, 6pm, in the office. $20 limit. Reply so we can draw names.

Book early, ask early

December venues fill up fast. Send the invitation three or four weeks ahead with a reply-by date, so you have numbers when the venue asks.

Ask about food once

A dietary question on the invitation means you hear about the vegetarian and the nut allergy now, not at the table.

For a potluck or Secret Santa

Add a who’s-bringing-what list and guests pick something when they reply, so the table isn’t six desserts and no mains.

Questions

Is it free to send a Christmas party invitation?
Yes, for up to 100 guests: the invitation page, email invites, a share link, replies with plus-ones, dietary questions and the live guest list.
Do my guests need an account to RSVP?
No. They open the invitation from their email or the link, tap going, maybe or can’t, and that’s it. They can change their reply later from the same link.
Can I share it in Slack for the office party?
Yes. Turn on the share link and post it, or email each person their own invitation.
Can people bring a partner?
Yes. You decide whether guests can bring a plus-one, and how many.
What if not everyone celebrates Christmas?
Use the holiday party invitation instead: the same features, with “holiday” or “end-of-year” in place of Christmas.
